Rivetted titanium pendants

Jarkman and I made a series of these - he made most of them and I think I made the ones below. The full range is visible here.

The pendant is cut out of thin sheet titanium and then textured with a hammer. It is heated to acheive the required colour change before fine silver or gold rivets are put in place (a rivet is needed to hold a hanging loop in place as it is not possible to solder onto titanium.

The finished pendants were suspended on a silver snake chain from Cooksons.

The first pendant had a slight crease along the vertical with silver/gold rivets:
