This set of pendants were made using some yellow/violet dichroic on black glass and in a couple, forms the bulk of the colour of the pendant. These are quite different to those made using the soft ripple purple dichroic.
Each pendant was topped with 2mm clear glass which gives depth to the purple dichroic colour.
Fine silver is used to make the hanging hook which is fused in place during the firing process and hung on a silver snake chain from from Cooksons.
The first one used pale aqua stringer to break up the dichroic into two halves and worked well.
The second pendant was for a child and so was only 25mm square:
The final pendant mixed neo lavender opal with the dichroic and used red stringer to separate the colours:
