I have used small bits of glass to experiment with making earrings - the findings are glued to the back after firing.
These were made using small pieces of copper wire from electrical cable sandwiched between coloured and clear glass - it oxidises to a lovely red colour. The orange pair are underfired - the small kiln we use does not get hot enough at the front - lesson learnt!
This pair were made for a friend to show her how easy glass jewellery was to make - two pieces of soft ripple purple dichroic topped with clear glass.
