This pendant was made using some scraps of crinklized dichroic glass. I was curious to see how easy this was to use and the results obtained.
Here the bottom later is 2mm black opal with a patterned layer containing strips of ???? blue opal and a piece of crinklized green/magenta dichroic glass. This is then topped with 2mm clear glass.
Fine silver is used to make the hanging hook which is fused in place during the firing process and hung on a silk necklet from Cooksons.
For me, this crinklized dichroic glass is a bit too harsh in colour but hopefully I will find a way of using small pieces in future works.
